Couture boulevard beckons the lucky few as TGIF Nepal Fashion Week 2001 gets set to choose its models for the fashion extravaganza. The audition for the models will take place at Aradhana Party Palace, Baghbazaar on June 30.
TGIF Nepal Fashion Week is an exclusive fashion event that is a launch pad for budding Nepali designers, a credible platfrom for veteran designers to showcase their creativity, while Nepali models get a chance to share ramp space with international models.
In order to discover the best models, an advertisement that called for audition for models was published in The Himalayan Times and Annapurna Post dailes from June 20 to 24.
Responding to the call, 60 female and 26 male models had applied for their auditions.
The application forms were available at IEC as well as at the webpage of THT and IEC. The data shows that 183 application forms were downloaded from THT website.
Fourteen female and 10 male modesl will be selected from the audition round and they will walk the ramp on all days of TGIF Nepal Fashion Week 2011.
